October 18, 2026: PROXAUT celebrates 30 years in business, a milestone that belongs to everyone
Building a story is part of the choices each of us makes. On October 18, 2026, Stefano Ballotti decided to build a new story called PROXAUT, which today sees us working together with MIDERA Food Processing to develop state-of-the-art AGV systems.
People, projects and customers are part of PROXAUT’s story, in that order: first we meet people, then we develop projects which, if all goes well, lead to customers.
This is our story; this is what we have done for 30 years, and what we will continue to do.
Here are the words of our President, Michele Riva, to celebrate this milestone: “Celebrating Proxaut’s 30th anniversary means looking back on a story built day by day with passion, expertise, courage and team spirit.

We would like to thank all the employees who are part of Proxaut today, as well as all those who, over the years, have contributed through their work, ideas and commitment to the company’s growth, starting with our founder, Stefano Ballotti.
Today, we are also proud to be part of the MIDERA Group, an organization that shares our vision and enables us to face the future with even greater strength, expertise and ambition.
Special thanks also go to our customers and partners, who have placed their trust in us and shared challenges, projects and successes with us.
We are proud of the journey we have taken together and look to the future with enthusiasm and determination, ready to pursue new goals with the same passion that has driven Proxaut for thirty years.”

History
The DNA of Proxaut has deep roots thanks to the long-standing experience of Mr. Ballotti which began in the early 80s and has matured in the most varied areas of the handling sector. Mr. Stefano Ballotti took his first steps in the field of automation but soon understood that making standard AGVs was not the future and set off on his path as a visionary entrepreneur: in this way, in 1997, Proxaut "tailored AGVs” came into being, where customised, special models are designed and created, tailored to the customer's needs. This pioneering spirit was nurtured day after day and represents the lifeblood of PROXAUT technology, increasingly at the service of companies.
